In the EU/EEA, only two non-HUS STEC cases were reported to have fallen ill within the last 10 days (10 July – 19 July) in Germany. These are two probable cases, not yet confirmed with STEC O104. The last known date of illness onset in a patient with confirmed STEC O104 was 7 July 2011.
