He contracted Ecoli from his daycare. It cause HUS. I almost lost him twice. HUS is very dangerous and believe me things get bad before they get good. We are going on 2 months at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital. He has dialysis every other day and he will never regain full kidney function. Its an awful thing to see your child go through. Hearing the crys for mommie when he hurts and knowing theres nothing you can do is just terrorizing. He is showing signs of improvement, but theres no telling when we will get to go home. My thoughts and prayers are with you, please remember its all in Gods hands. Just be their support system. Now i know what everyone means when they say though life things always get bad before they get good. And sometimes it will seem like you are taking 2 steps forward just to take 4 back. Believe me the 2 forward are well worth it. God bless you and your loved one with this illness.
